how much does sleep testing cost?
Sleep testing and treatment costs vary by type of testing/treatment and insurance policy. SleepSomatics provides patients a complimentary review of sleep related insurance primary pla coverage and quotation of patient payment responsibility (out of pocket costs) prior to any follow-up diagnostic services once an Assessment appointment or physician referral (with required clinical documentation) is received.

what is involved in sleep testing?
There is no one-size-fits-all sleep test. There are dozens of potential testing and treatment paths for 70+ sleep disorders. Sleep tests are non-invasive, passive medical diagnostics that do not use needles, harsh chemicals, painful hospital tape, enclosed spaces, nudity, or radiology/nuclear medicine. SleepSomatics consistently rates 5-stars from our sleep testing patients because of our unique, patient-centered approach to testing and treatment. Schedule a New Patient Sleep Assessment for a comprehensive review of our clinical approach and testing and treatment options.
I ALREADY HAD A SLEEP TEST. HOW DO I TRANSFER CARE TO YOU?
If you have already been previously tested at another sleep clinic or are wanting to transfer your ongoing care and treatment to SleepSomatics, please follow the same referral process as a new patient by scheduling a New Patient Sleep Assessment or obtaining a referral from your existing provider using our SleepSomatics Referral Form.
For patients previously diagnosed and presently under treatment (such as sleep apnea patients with CPAP), SleepSomatics recommends the New Patient Sleep Assessment so our clinical staff may fully evaluate your diagnosis and treatment history before establishing ongoing care.
CAN I DO MY SLEEP TESTING AT HOME?
SleepSomatics provides full service sleep testing and treatment at our private, comfortable sleep clinic in Austin and in-the-home sleep testing and treatment options. It is important to know the self-serve type sleep testing that is done in-the-home is available at a lower cost, however is limited in its evaluation.
